Sherms side of the story, great to hear it tbh. Insane to hear about Harvins strength. Its a shame he wasted his talent.
"heard he put someone in the trash can.. we aint gonna name names but thats what we heard"

Sherm "somethin to do with a trash can.. and BLACK EYE later"
SO lol Harvin placed GT in a trash can hahaha

Here’s Tate on the Subject.

According to him, he got tackled from behind into a dirty clothes cart, NOT placed in a trash can.
Interesting conversation (comments are hilarious)

yeah after listneing to sherm and few others NOT named tate.. and being he had the black eye... im leaning towards sherms recollection of events being closer to what took place. Because it IIRC ive heard Sherms "version" from i think Bryant or someone eles on defense as well. Its interesting to hear about everything though now yrs later. Think tates was like 6-7months ago, Sherm just this last week or the week before came out about it. BUt whats hilarious is I REMEMBER Tate giving different versions when it first happened.

The day the seahawks stopped getting better was the day they traded for Harvin. We started treading water and trying to limit attrition at that point.
It's pretty much impossible to keep improving when you trade 2 firsts and make him your highest paid player.

Pete's new toy broke a couple of days after he got him.

Ukfay Arvinfay the guy was a head case.
Harvin was like a 'sticky booger' picked it, and can't shake it off the finger.

It seems to me that JS learned a lot through Harvin and then JAdams. Specifically: he can improve the roster significantly by getting rid of certain players, not just bringing in talent. He's done well drafting recently and "hit" on free agents too. But, the reason the team's personality is warrior-like is just as much because of who's not there.

Will also argue the Jimmy Graham trade killed the seahawks as a contender under Pete. We've still not really replaced unger and I remember guys like Bruce irvin calling Graham soft when he was at the saints. Graham would have been a hall of famer if he had stayed at the saints but he never felt a great fit here as he couldn't block and his bad injury here finished him as a top end player.

Ten touchdowns in 2017, 2nd most receptions in the NFC in 2016 or something like that, but yeah, he killed the Seahawks as a contender.

Everyone loves a scapegoat, but fact-based narratives are still likelier to lead you to the conclusions with the least error.

It's insane how the story didn't leak to the media when it happened. Didn't it take a couple years until people started talking about it? When everyone was off the team already?

...and Wilson got killed playing defensive guys at center and other projects. We lost our identity after that trade. Graham did well but not for the outlay
