The roster that won 12 games and made the divisional round of the playoffs? The fact that they did that while having to go "next man up" so often speaks highly of their depth.

What depth? They don't have depth at any major position. They are incredibly thin at OL, DL, WR, LB, CB and S. That was more a masterclass of coaching from Shanahan than actual depth which is why it was a miracle they made it that far. Lynch has ignored the OL, DL and secondary for years and it bit them in the ass.

He hasn't "ignored" them. Puni OG was drafted in the second round last year. Upton stout and Sigle in the secondary this year. Mykel Williams DE, Alfred Collins DL and CJ west DL 1,2,3 round this year.

He just has not had any star picks in these areas like Schneider lately. Zabel, Emmanwori, Byron Murphy, Witherspoon come to mind

But they were all playing and contributing to a 12-5 record (other than Mykel Williams)

Schneider had a drafting lull from 2016-2021. The big trade up for Lance killed a bunch of of 1 and 2 rounders for Lynch but they made up a little ground this year. Things go in cycles. The Seahawks will be in the driver seat in this current cycle
