I've not watched a Star Wars since the crime that was Jar Jar Binks was invented. Am I missing something? Just wondering.

They've been much better since the Jar Jar disaster. I can understand their concern about how enthusiastic the original Star Wars generation would be and feeling they needed to capture a new young group, but they F'd that up BIG. I was disgusted

Force Awakens was the worst thing ever. It felt like the goal of the film was to make audiences finally appreciate the prequels. I'm not overly critical of Last Jedi, but, YouTube is aflurry with videos about how it "broke Star Wars."

Not to derail, but Last Jedi was absolute crap. Actually, in a lot of ways the sequels are following the prequels. The first episode of each, you're kind of like, "well that wasn't what I expected and I'm not sure of the point." Then you get to the second and you're thinking, "what the heck is this garbage I'm watching?" Will be interesting to see if the third can salvage a modicum of interest for the trilogy.

Except I would say Force Awakens > Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones > Last Jedi.

That sequence may propel the 9ers to the W...........hold NO to a FG after the turnover and then after getting stopped on a 3 and out an immediate turnover and capitalizing for 7.
Saints badly need a TD drive here to stay in it imo.

We don't any particular high quality depth there, but who does? Garland has a few years experience though, including in Shanahan's system.

LB-58 bit on the play fake. He got sucked in towards the flow and let Kittle run right past him. It's amazing how often a guy on the backside of a play that is that far away and has no chance at making a play on a run away from him doesn't stay home. It's easier said than done, but it must drive coaches nuts

I like Charles Davis a lot as a color guy but you don't have to go extremely in depth after every single play.

"I'm not too concerned about any of the players out on offense. On defense, having LBs Klein and Alonso out is concerning somewhat but I think we will be ok with the backups - plus we may be nickel or heavy nickel a lot.

Also our D has been tackling very well this year. PJ Williams and Patrick Robertson are the weakest of the bunch but even they do not have the missed tackle percentage of some of the Seahawks or Niner players. "
