Some things transcend rivalries and this is one of them Trent Williams and his wife are mourning the loss of their son who was stillborn November 24.

The article says they lost the baby’s twin earlier in the pregnancy. Man, that’s just brutal emotionally. My best to the family.

Rivalries are about fun and shouldn't trump basic humanity.

That's awful and something no parent should have to experience. I hope he and his family have lots of love and support from their extended family.

Dude has had a tough run of it. He overcame a rare form of skin cancer not long ago and now this.

I oddly gained respect for the dude when he B Slapped Sherm after we beat them in the playoffs in 2012. Loved Sherm but he was acting like a punk. Big time. Trent slapped him and moved on. One slap. No brawl. No words.

He's an all time great at the position and from what it appears, a solid human, 'man's man' , kind of guy.

Feel bad for him and his wife.

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.

😕🤔 Que?

I must either be unaware of an entire other instance where TW slapped Sherman, or we have drastically different opinions of what "acting like a punk. Big time" is. The latter is extremely likely. If you are talking about the 2012-13 Playoffs when we beat Washington, I only remember Sherm congratulating different 'skins players, when TW approached and got in RS's face and punch/slapping him on some "sore loser" sucka shit. But whatever.

Regardless of all that, this is some world crushing, faith testing shit! There's gotta be absolutely nothing worse than burying your baby. God bless him and his family! 😔

Edit: I had to look it up. Yeah, I don't see what you see.

Sherm did his sh!+ talking throughout the game. Loved him as a player but the dude rode the chip a bit too hard for my taste.

As i remember it, he was being Sherm all game, had some beaf with Trent during thr game, talked smack the whole time and then went up to him afterwards with a hint of sarcasm to offer a 'good game'.
