Not goona lie though, Dr.Dre and his staff knows how to market very well. That and their product doesn't look like crap, but the performance leaves a bit to be desired. Who would've known base > overall sound = $.

We once bought the wife a set of Sonys and they cost almost as much but sucked. I got a set of Bose and they are still unparalled.

I agree the regular Bose you buy in stores can be beat but the ones you have to buy directly from Bose are the best. As far as I know you can't buy the noise canceling ones in a store, have to be direct from the New England States.

Not sure where you guys are reading, I'm here now (about 30 mins South of the Stadium)...It was snowing good earlier but has actually warmed up and changed to rain. .even that is supposed to blow out early in the AM leaving us with clear and cold conditions for gametine.

I too bought the high end Bose headphones after going through a bunch of junk, but I also bought a pair of "The Sharper Image" that I can wear while I work out at the Y, and although they aren't on the same level as my Bose, they far exceed ALL the others that I've owned, and tried out over the last 25 Years.

I paid $150 for Sony pros 12 years ago and they still work good (though the ear cushions need to be replaced).

I use the $30 Apple ear buds. They work fine, loud and clear even on an airplane, fit my ears great and I don't look like Warren from There's Something About Mary when I want to listen to some music.
