RUMOR: No SNF for the 9ers/Seahawks game

I just saw this tweet amid some others showing that CBS "protected" both of their Broncos/Chiefs telecasts in weeks 11 and 13.

@FieldGulls Fox has "protected" Seahawks/49ers for week 14, meaning the game cannot be "flexed" to SNF. So expect Buck/Aikman on that game.

It may be fact but so far it is just what I am "hearing on the streets"

I could have sworn there was a rule that teams can't be featured in prime time more than 5 times per season. Since the 49ers already had five i thought it was reported before the season that that game couldn't be flexed anyway.

Aikmen isn't bad imo, but Joe Buck doesn't even deserve to vend beer at an NFL stadium.

He's such a popous whiney man - two things that are worse than the sum of their parts.

The guy gets many kids' dream job in a baseball broadcasting career and instead of just enjoying the gig - he goes and complains about the strike zone being too small and games taking up too much of his time.

Not a surprise if you look at the Week 14 slate. There was no way FOX was losing that matchup.
