Who's your shocker for the Seahawks to select with their round 1 pick?

Mine: Shavon Revel, CB
Typical Seahawks corner: tall. long, hard hitting trash talker. Would have been a top 10 pick if he wasn't coming off an ACL.

I have heard of talk that it’s a belief that Revel will be a 1st rd pick

For me a surprise would be Jayden Higgins who has been thought of as a 3rd rd pick could go in the 1st rd

True but Revel is not a guy you've seen linked to the Hawks in mock drafts. Also, he is projected to be more of a late first rounder.

If the Seahawks trade down in the 1st round I could see Revel or Higgins as their primary targets. I'm higher on Higgins than most and have only seen him mocked in the 1st round on one mock. I love Revel, he is my number CB for the Seahawks in this draft. Although his injury history is a bit of a concern. The Seahawks had him in for a 30 visit and I'm sure they got some clarity on his health during that visit.

So my shocker Seahawks pick in the 1st round is QB Jalen Milroe. I'm not saying this is who I want or expect them to select in round 1, but I do think its a reasonable possibility.

Agree that Milroe would be a shocker. Not as a Seahawk pick, but as a first round Seahawk pick. I would also be shocked to see a one-legged corner go first round. But the wonders of modern medicine could make for such a shocker.

My shocker for the Hawks 1st round pick is Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia.

His blend of length, power, versatility is too tempting for John and Mike to pass on.

The futures of both Uchenna Nwosu and Boye Mafe are too uncertain.

Mafe is an UFA after this year, and Uchenna has one more year on his contract but at a cap hit ($20M in 2026) that suggests he may well be a cap casualty. It's time to re-stock the EDGE cupboard.

Mykel Williams joins Derick Hall as the future EDGE pair in Seattle.
