That was advertised as a point of focus in the beginning of the season.

Said they would be hyper focused on center moving the ball, AND how O linemen lined up

Pretty sure making any contact with the QB's helmet is also a point of focus.

But regardless, my point was incidental crap is being called both ways. An OL being like a couple inches further back than he's supposed to be seems awfully incidental to me.

I agree that it seems incidental

The NFL however decided to make it a point of emphasis.
I suspect that the owners/coaches complained enough to inspire the change
