I definitely agree with him keeping on talking smack. If they're gonna keep on forcing it to Roddy, he's bound to make a play at some point. Sherman did an amazing job in that game and he has every right to be proud. In the first half he seemed like the only one that came to play. If a player stopped talking smack as soon as someone made a play on them, he'd have to shut up real quick. That's not a useful standard[1]. A better standard is to stop talking when you're not the best of the best or when someone own you. Roddy doesn't own Sherman, and you and I both know it. So does Roddy.
