I love how they rip Sherman for taking it to a personal level with Crabtree by calling him sorry and mediocre and meanwhile they get personal on these guys on widely broadcasted shows each and every day. Hypocrites for sure.

It was such an incredibly dumb thing to say at the time. Seattle was fresh off a season with the NFL's #1 offense by DVOA, without Harvin. His statement was tantamount to Denver trading for Adrian Peterson next offseason, losing him to injury, and then declaring their offense to be dead on arrival. It was reactionary stupidity at it's absolute finest.

The amazing thing to me is how by pure accident, his words actually turned out to be mildly prophetic in a way. Seattle's offense did get figured out this season, and it did struggle to move the ball at the end specifically because our WR's weren't scaring anybody. When Harvin did play in the Vikings and Saints games, you truly could feel a big difference, even though he only touched the ball a handful of times. His mere presence made the whole offense better, and it also meant getting more respect on kickoffs too.

It makes me excited for this Super Bowl, especially if the field is slick. It makes me excited for next season too if we get a healthy Harvin in most/all of our 2014 games.

Like Sherman said: I don't understand why anyone would vote for the Seahawks to lose IN SEATTLE. Skip and Steven Smith has voted for the 49ers both times this year: week 2 and in the NFC championship game.
