Rams have the best division record then us then the Niners. All 1 game behind the division leading Cardinals.

We don't have a lot of tiebreakers this season over hardly anybody. But the division is within reach if we can repeat how we played today a few more times.

I hope we play better than that
Keeping SF to 17 when after giving them the ball on our side of the field shows the D played a solid game. Run D was very good today for the most part. Our pass D was suspect at a few different times, but ya gotta give Purdy credit. It made some spectacular throws to move the chains and Jennings size matched well against ours.

OL play was improved in pass protection...the run game was the biggest weakness.

I hope we play better every week, but we looked pretty damn good today against a team that is much better than several posters are giving them credit for.

I think WE are the team that is much better than many posters give us credit for. It's just that we are getting there in steps instead of some sudden miracle. I have consistently said I believe we are not that far away from being an upper tier team. Wins such as this one bolster that notion, at least in my mind.

They need to win the rest of their divisional games.

Still a ton of football to play obviously but as of right now, only 2 teams control their destiny for the NFC West title. Obviously, the Cardinals (since they currently lead the division)... and us.

Rams or Niners could win all the rest of their games, but if the Cardinals win all of their games too, they can't win the division.

Agreed, I've been saying this for weeks. The talent is there for this to be a playoff teams. They just need to stop shooting themselves in the foot and they can beat anyone in the NFC.

I couldn't agree more.
