Meh. Rex is probably a good guy, but his humor is that of a middle-aged man who's finding joy in skirting the edge of trolling without being punished for it. The act gets tired when he calls for facts then dismisses them in a simple, cliché way. You think you're actually having a dialogue, but he's just getting off on you supporting a substantial conversation while he's goofing off with Ram Rules style bravado.HansGruber":1j0fors0 said:Rex ain't so bad. Dude is crackin' me up.
He actually reminds me of my dad doing his version of smack talk on our fantasy football site. You can't possibly take it seriously. Thing is, Rex gets into debates and conversations and waits until he's cornered to pull the rug out with an over-the-top ridiculous statement like he was joking the whole time. Maybe he doesn't know any better, but it's troll-ish.
He might be good for a laugh. More and more he's teaching me not to bother. But he's harmless, so as long as you know you're wasting your time trying to have a serious discussion I guess he's good for stirring the pot here at .Net.
Just know that his only reason for being here is to be a Rams cheerleader, not to dissect the finer points of football or look at football issues objectively. Right, wrong, ignorant, misinformed, delusional, or other, the only trick this pony's got is to shill Rams pride. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
