OMG I am watching the replay on Comcast's On Demand (after all, why work after a game like that? lol) and it's blissfully Raibs calling the game. On the final TD to Graham that ultimately wins the game Raibs is so besides himself he loses his voice. His voice cracks and then he attempts to talk in a lower voice to finish the call. LMAO!

Holy catfish I love that guy.

I'd literally pay dollars to see that. Raibs is one of the reasons I love the Seahawks. I want to get "Holy Catfish" on the back of a old school number 12 jersey.

I met him once. It was 1999 when the Holmgren-led Hawks went to Green Bay for that MNF game (the one where we beat them soundly). He was sitting in the lobby so I walked up to him just to say hello. He was very kind. He's a throwback to another gentler time. He's a treasure for us and I am sure Pete Gross is thrilled that he took over the reigns.

On de beach, mon...
I met him in 76 and got his autograph along with Zorn and Largent on a team poster I have hanging framed to this day. It's my most prized Seahawks memorabilia.

I was out of town so had to listen to the game on the radio. On the game clinching INT, Moon let out that same cheer he made on the radio call of "the Tip"

Love Raible! I actually did something yesterday that was awesome. There was a weird high pitched sound coming from the broadcast audio (did anyone else notice that??). So, I turned the sound off from my TV and with my Amazon Echo listened to Steve and Warren call the game while it was playing on the TV. Didn't have to install anything or change anything, just said, "Hey Alexa, play 710 espn radio". This worked great and will be how I watch every game from now on! There is a delay (TV is ahead) but I was able to pause the TV and sync it up to the exact same time as the radio calls.

Whenever the Hawks are on in my area I always sync SiriusXM broadcast with Raible. The first time I heard him was on the play by play that you could get on NFL.com.

Enjoy him, Seattle. You will miss him when he is done.

Man I agree. I root for cougs over Uw and never heard UW announcer. WSU had Bob robertson which he is legendary too.

Zags fan too here since 94.

Most Seattle/PNW Pro & College sport fans don't realize how good the announcers are we HAVE had in the past, and those that we currently have are until you start spending some time listening to other cities pro and college sport radio broadcasts.

We have been in the past and are currently truly blessed with these people and Raibs has been one of the best in the NFL for a very long time, I always love listening to him when I can.

GO HAWKS!!!

I had to listen to the game on radio. Raible actually went "my voice is just toast" and Warren Moon's voice was cracking as well and he said "I'm sorry, my voice is just gone". They were both spent at the end of that game.
