Remember when we had Lee "Hacksaw" Hamilton? Horrible. Dude was a San Diego Chargers homer and lived full time in the SD area doing a daily Chargers show yet come up here to do our play by play.

...........
Ugh, my deepest sympathies. I lived down there at the time had no idea you guys were stuck with that buffoon up here until I read this. At one point I listened to him for about 6 months back in those days as there was only one sports radio station in town at the time (XTRA, the mighty 690). After those 6 months I simply couldn't take him any longer and listened to music during his show if I was driving. Dude's a joke.

Having watched highlight videos dubbed by the home Radio play by play guys on NFL Network on demand, Raible is one of the best in the game, but if youve ever listened to the live game on radio only, a 3 yard run gives you a heart attack. Every play you think is gonna be a touchdown haha

He actually sounds a little reserved during the first half, like the early deficit got him down. He roars back in the second quarter, though.

I love the Oklahoma twang he's added to his "TOUCHDAAOOOOOWWWNN" since earlier years.

One cool thing on the Wagner sack, at about 1 minute in is Bruce. Shows they, uh respect his outside speed. OT steps way outside to reach him with a RB waiting to chip him on tackles outside shoulder and Bruce takes a step outside and then cuts straight down the line past him and bursts into the pocket.

Also the Russell Wilson stiff arm at 1:40. You can call him short but he ain't sure ain't weak. Then again the guy looked about 190 but hey a good looking stiff arm is a good looking stiff arm.

1:48- People can dump on Bevell all day if they want but this was a nice little play design. Russell pump fakes on a bubble screen to Doug Baldwin and Tampa Bay LB Adam Heyward bites hard, like Boulware hard, along with #21, the one who got thrown down by Russell. Middles zones are cleared (Or possibly someone didn't stay with their man), Kearse fills it, and Russell hit him in stride with both safeties being pulled up by the deep routes on either side. I imagine it was set up earlier with some quick screens but I'm not sure.

Also on this play, as mentioned in other spots, McQuistan at guard gets absolutely blown up by Gerald McCoy who is apt to do that sort of thing. Poor Russ.

I really wish that the Buc's were better and not coached by Schiano. They'd be pretty likeable to me considering they have McCoy, Lavonte David, Mark Barron, and Doug Martin four guys I either loved in the draft and/or really wanted the Hawks to pick/get a chance to pick in the draft. Plus three huskies? Pretty darn good.

On that play towards the end with Earl stopping Glennon short of the first down marker. Holy hell, I didn't realize how far Earl was out before he hit Glennon, Earl may as well have been on the moon and he made up the distance in the time Glennon traveled like 3 years. I knew Earl was good, but DAYUM, that type of stuff is almost superhuman good.

And I think Golden may have a new nickname. "The Playmaker".

Doug Baldwin had some amazing catches as well!

Dougy has incredible awareness and seems like some kind of Elastic man Super Hero. No matter how far out of bounds the pass is, he can stretch out his legs and magically keep toes on the field.

That was awesome. As somebody who doesn't watch the games that was enjoyable to be able to see.

Brian Davis was pretty hard to listen to back in the day. He'd act like they won the Superbowl on a 2 yard run.

We Seattle sport fans have been very fortunate to have been able to listen to some sports announcing legends...Calabro, Niehaus, Raibes, Pete Gross among others.
Sorry if I misspelled anyone.

Ive seen the Raible highlight games for this season but i wondered if anyone knew of an archive of last seasons. Im trying to imagine the commentary for Rice's TD against the Pats.
