If Seahawks picked

Metcalf at 29

Collier at 47

Blair at 64

would all the set-in-stone round projection leeches be fed and happier?

LOL, that’s a GREAT question. I bet they’d be happier.

Doubt it. Some people are just determined to be miserable and piss in everyone else's Cheerios.

Nobody wanted Metcalf that early.

He was widely projected to go waaaaaayyy before the end of the 2nd round with many, many projecting him as a 1st round pick.

I can do this all day if you'd like more examples.

I never said he wasn't projected earlier. I'm aware of what the mocks have been saying.

I'm in a ridiculous amount of Seahawks chats for these first two rounds, and it is has been the same thing over and over again. Somebody brings up Metcalf, and then a bunch of people jump in to call him overrated. Hell, look in the draft forum here. Many are happy to get him at the end of the second, but it would be nowhere near as celebrated if it had been the pick in round 1. It has been the same thing for other fan bases in the weeks going up the draft. He is an athletic freak, but he greatly underperformed in college and has injury issues. That scares a lot of people off.

That's a great way to make draft picking a reality for all arm chair GM's. In other words it doesn't matter when they are drafted if you end up with the guys you wanted all along. :2thumbs:
