...The NFC East's eventual winner or the AFC's second wild card team?
I'm thinking that it's kind of a shame that Arizona isn't still in the NFCE or isn't in the AFCS or AFCN because they may well miss the playoffs while being better than about eighteen or twenty teams in the league.
If we're looking at the NFCE's potential winners, well, that's everyone: Dallas, Philly, Washington, and the G-Men all have shots at taking it.
If we're looking at that last AFC Wild Card team, the Jets are in that spot, and they are 5-4 and the ONLY team above .500 that is in the running for that last spot. The Dolphins, Browns, Ravens, and Titans are all 4-5 and just one game back. Hell, the Steelers and Raiders, at 3-6, are only two games out.
Would you take Philly over any of the other teams there? I'm thinking maybe, but you could convince me that the Jets are better. Honestly, I think ARZ and STL are better than pretty much any of those teams AND are both also better than the Colts, on another note. Best division in football, baby!
