I live 17 miles from Levi's stadium, thought this would be a chance of a lifetime for my son and I to go...cheapest per ticket I can find $6,500 and that's in the nose bleed sections. I love my son, I love my Seahawks, but man....what a price to pay. Anyone want to buy a kidney? Just kidding! 😜 I'll put the money to use instead and buy a case of beer to yell at the tv come February.

I'm in NorCal...you couldn't pay me to go to Santa Clara and attend the game. The traffic in and out is going to be ridiculous.

Right after the game ended, got an email from the Seahawks letting me know that I didn't get selected for SuperBowl tickets, but...great news: I can buy a nosebleed, corner of the stadium package for $7,000. There are LOADS of these packages available. Makes you wonder what the Seahawks did with their SuperBowl ticket allotment. Anyone get picked to buy tickets?

I thought about flying into San Jose, then going to Santa Clara hanging around for a few days maybe find a watch party and then head up to Seattle for the parade that might be the plan

You've got a plan! I didn't go to last Super Bowl parade, which was stupid, because I have a condo downtown. This year I won't miss it.

Super Bowl prices are obscene. Nice if you are rich I guess but to pay 8-10K for a single seat is just gross. For a football game. Give me a break.

Not because I’m not rich but I honestly would rather watch the game at home on my comfy couch, no line to the bathroom, food and beverage a few feet away.

I understand the bucket list element for some but I really think it’s a joke how expensive Super Bowl tickets are.

I met a 'football' fan at the game Sunday, who flew in from Canada just because it was the NFC Championship. I asked him how he got his ticket and he said "I had to pay $3,000". I looked at him weird and he quickly said "I've got a lot of money" and then changed the subject. So those people do exist 😄

Good for him. The real Super Bowl as we all know is the NFC Championship game. The Super Bowl is the corporate party and much too pomp and circumstance for my taste as a diehard.

The trophy is all that matters.

I dunno - I might have done it. IMO, the NFCCG WAS the superbowl. The atmosphere must have been AMAZING.

Now to pay the CDN conversion on TOP of 8K USD a ticket to watch the corporate crowd/rich guys sit on their hands? NOPE. You can literally buy a car for that much!

My first two NFC Championships, growing up in East Texas, were the Cowboys and Packers, so I agree completely - Chiefs and Raiders meant nothing. The Super Bowl is still the last game you have to win, but if I had to choose 'Super Bowl or NFC Championship' to attend, I'm choosing the latter.

I was hoping to get selected again for SB (went to 49)
But after seeing the prices, plus flights, no thanks.

What are the odds of getting selected, for you guys that have had tickets forever? I assume, as this was my 2nd year, that I really had zero chance.

You get one chance per years you've been a STH. I have had mine since 93. You get a chance for each seat you have in your name (I have 7)

4th SB, picked one time.
