Not sure if anyone is watching, but the Kraken are off to their best start yet. This new coach seems to have them a lot more disciplined. Last night, they scored 3 goals in the 3rd period for a comeback win.

Im not sure it's sustainable though. They seem to be really struggling offensively. Wish they would give the younger guys more game time than some of the middling vets they have. They've been good when played.

So what, at the time they were killing it. I pull for my teams thru thick and thin.

5 years in and this franchise is losing with old expensive players along with a few young guys who don't seem to be developing all that quickly. In any sport, it's the hardest sort of team to root for or even give much attention to.

Pacific division has NFC South vibes about it this year. In the western conference in general only Colorado looks good. Don't get me wrong, I want the Kraken to make the play offs and they may even go a couple of rounds but they are a pretty flawed team.

I'm just happy the Kraken are good this year, sitting in 3rd place, I'll take it. I've never once said they are a contender.
Dare I say they are the Sam Darnold of the NHL? Better than people think they are?

I'm pretty much a standing and stat watcher now. One of the questions I have about the team is are any of their top draft picks since their inception going to develop into true superstars?
