Thoughts?

I would love this! Ms in a four-team division with Athletics, Giants, and Portland. And all the other division realignments just makes a lot of sense.

Here's another by The Athletic. Still mulling over both but I think I like FOX Sports' version more. For a number of reasons, including the fact San Francisco is closer to Seattle than Los Angeles. But both are great in that both TX teams are OUT of Seattle's division!

So, they're looking at two new teams?

MLB wants to add 2 more teams, yeah. I'm definitely for division realignments. It's dumb Ms have to travel to texas so much. Wtf..east texas too. Basically Louisiana.

At the miminum, it's intriguing. Cutting back on travel AND not having the ASSstos or Rangers? Noice. I hope Portland does get a team. Would make for some fun road trips. Or a quick flight.

Here's another, with the Ms in a "Mountain" division with Vegas, Colorado, and Salt Lake City (or PDX, hopefully). It's not terrible, but I'd rather see the Ms in a division with PDX, LA Angels/San Francisco, and Vegas, though Denver is only another 150 miles compared to Vegas, measuring their distances from Seattle, so I guess Ms and Rockies in the same division wouldn't be a big deal.

No matter how they re-align, Seattle will always be among the top 3 in mileage per season. 🤷‍♂️

This one assumes both expansion teams are back east. Bleah to the power of 116.

Hmm, Mariners, A's, Rockies, Angels. We might be able to win the division more than once every couple of decades if that happened.

Very good point.

Sucks, though, that the make-up of a division can be a make-or-break situation for would-be division winners. Like the AL West has been for the last decade or so. But that's reality for many divisions in pretty much all sports.

I like this setup
Gets the Astros where they should be, I'm not sure on Rays going to the NL
though because it would help the Yankees - **** them.

Baseball traditionalists won't like splitting up the Dodgers and Giants, next to Yankees/Red Sox has to be the biggest, longest standing rivalry in baseball.
