On day 1, passing game is more established than running game: best blocker wins. That's probably EWilson on day 1 but realistically could be Holani or even Price if we're lucky early in the season.

As JPrice gets better at protection and used to Seahawk OLine, maybe he turns into the total package. Maybe there's someone in RB room that shows some magic in receiving game. Maybe Shaheed becomes a game-breaker on sweeps. There are a lot of potential outcomes that could be potent additions to the run-game.

If we're boxing in the question and asking, "who is the most likely to replace K9's snaps in the exact way K9 was used?" That's probably Price by mid-season just considering the investment and expectations...but then we've completely missed the point on how Coach Macdonald uses all/any players' strengths to add value wherever it exists. If we're just counting snaps, in any situation: inside, outside, blocking, receiving, jet-sweeps... it could even be some FA that's not even on the team until final cuts.

I, personally, hope there isn't a single RB that takes a huge majority of the snaps because it means the others aren't adding value. It'd be better for the team if 2 (or even 3) split snaps equally and they each run, catch and block really well.

...and I hope it's the same with the TE room.
