The Seahawks' 2026 unit that will improve most over 2025, bettering themselves in more statistical categories and being notably stronger, more formidable, and more successful, is... and state your supporting reasons in a reply post.

Would appear the offense has the most room TO improve. They certainly weren't a liability, but turnovers were high over the second half of the regular season, we didn't really have a consistent second-receiver after JSN, running game ran hot and cold, etc.

I'm not sure any of that is necessarily solved, but there's reason to be optimistic that Darnold's postseason performance will provide him more confidence, and further development from especially Horton and Arroyo will help. I wouldn't expect rookie Price to be an upgrade over Walker, and we don't know how Charbs will respond coming off injury, but if everything else is clicking it should still be good. New coaching is a wild card.

Like usual, probably depends on who stays healthy. We got lucky with that last season.

I voted offense purely bast on having a second year together. That gel factor is huge, especially on the offensive line. If there’s an healthy Horton, Shaheed and JSN- watch out! AJ and Arroyo could become a lighter version of Gronk and Hernandez. And Price might not be a big drop off from regular season Kenny.

Special Teams last year was awesome and must see TV. I’m glad to see them make Teams a priority again this offseason.

On defense, I actually think there is plenty to improve. Get to the QB. Pressure is great, but close the lanes and cut the angles . They were pretty dang good against the run. CB play could improve, there’s plenty of room for it. If there is one thing that I would like to see improve, outside CB stickiness and playing the ball in the air.

This is a tough call. The Defense was really good last season so they will have less room to grow. I do think they will be better but how much better can the best be? The offense is a bigger question. With the exception of K9 (although JP may be better who knows) we will have a better stocked roster with Horton healthy and maybe a Bradford upgrade. The big unknown is the offensive coordinator. Tough call since we don’t have much to look at in his resume for play calling. We will run the same basic offense with will give us consistency but how unpredictable and creative can the new play caller be??? Will not really know the answer until season end. This will be nice to revisit after the season concludes.
I will say the team as a whole have a lot less unknowns going into this season than we did last season. Hopefully that gives our guys more time to focus on more advanced play heading into the season.

Offense will be better mainly 'cause of two things :

1.) The re-signing of Rashid Shaheed

and

2.) The return of Tory Horton.

We know JSN will be there doing his thing but those other two will be key to really unlocking this offense's full potential.

There is question about Jadarian Price and how he does (we'll have to see) and Cooper Kupp is one year older (and probably in his last season), but overall I fully expect Sam and the offense to take off.

If you're making me bet money on outcomes here and adding a real penalty to being wrong, I'm betting on none of the above. Defense and ST are tough choices for improvement because the bar is so high. The offense has the most room to grow but also a newbie OC, no Charbs for a chunk of the seasons, and a rookie instead of K9. Of course, the offense is anything but hopeless. Maybe they're less conservative with Darnold and he delivers a 30+ TD season. Maybe Shaheed looks more like a WR playing WR than a KR split wide and Price is amazing year one. But still, if this offense is going to become dominant, I don't think it happens quickly and easily. IMO we probably take one step back and then one step forward in 2026 and one big step forward in 2027.

I want to say offense because like Rat said, they have the most room to improve. But I think the D will be on another level. All the recent talks of adding Myles Garrett and I definitely say the D if that comes to fruition.

Emanuel Wilson should fill in for Charbs and provide a decent 7-10 carries a game. I think there’s a chance this team looks down right beastly to finish the year.
