Option 2 is the norm and is my choice until they do it different.

It is amazing how much stuff we can fit into our $#!&*^&(*.

These days I almost get the feeling that PC just doesn't think much about the first half. He really does focus on the fourth quarter and what his team can do once the other team is gassed.

Reason: When you watch Seattle's late comebacks, you don't see a lot of failed fourth-quarter plays for the Seahawks. You see them marching downfield ripping off huge chunks of yardage, whether they be from Wilson's scrambling, Lynch's running, dramatic passes, or key opponent penalties. It's a striking pattern. You really get the sense that part of Seattle's talent for late comebacks is the other team being exhausted both physically and mentally. Come crunch time, they just seem to lose their ability to contain Wilson while simultaneously shutting down his receiving options. Even passes over the middle open up for Wilson in the fourth (e.g. 97-yard drive vs Bears game last year, two quick short throws between the hash marks for first downs, and two of those underneath steep slants they love to run with Tate.)

I just get the feeling that the opposition can't ball with the Hawks for 4 quarters.

Just look at the LOB, those guys make enough plays that there are several different highlight videos without repeating the plays.

It just seems like the defense gets at least 2 game changing plays a game, where they either score, get the offense close for a score or prevent a likely score.

Listen, and understand. That defense is out there. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until the game is over.

I think we won't do what we've done before and had to pull it out in the end... I believe we'll be up front and happening to begin with and get the lead and keep it to the end!!! GO HAWKS!!! :thirishdrinkers:
