I haven't had any opportunities to watch any of the Mariners prospects but I know we have a consensus high farm system rich with talent so that's promising. I just hope they are ready sooner rather than later, because Management won't go outside the organization to improve this team.

I've had the feeling that one of the reasons we haven't been going after FAs lately is these prospects at IF and OF climbing our farm system. I suspect we're gonna need 1 or 2 of these guys to make the bigs this year. Would love it if at least one of them make it out of spring on the 26, not just on the 40. Would rather see that than spending $200 mill on some old guy.

I’ve had that same suspicion. I get the feel Cole young is our starting 2B. Makes no sense to have Moore start there when you value position flexibility off the bench as highly as they do. Might be more of an April call up rather than right out of spring training. I assume he is on this team most of 2025. Emerson and Celestin are a little further seafront my understanding which is why I think they brought back polanco for 1 year. Last year was statistically a fluke for him so see if it was and get good value for hi but doesn’t block a prospect long term. That’s why I didn’t want Hoerner (no idea what his contract situation looks like)

It would be a big mistake to rush Cole Young to the majors this year. He was fabulous in rookie and A ball, but he was not as good last year in AA Arkansas. He definitely needs a year in AAA. He's only 21, and as our #2 propect, we need to think long-term with him.

Not one of these prospects will be apart of the 2025 lineup. I'm not saying they won't eventually be studs but it's not happening this year.

I'm guessing after this season there will be a few coming up and so on.
