I don't see us keeping four RBs, especially with the likelihood we keep three QBs and a FB. Id guess this guy either kicks Kenny McIntosh off the team or goes to the practice squad.

This is by far my favorite late round pick. He can be a starter in the NFL. Great late round pick.

Agreed, but I'll do you one better. This is by far my favorite pick since our 2nd pick in the draft, and I won't be surprised at all if he turns out to be the best player we picked outside of the first 2.

Martinez is a beast. He punished the Huskies when he was on Oregon State.

After watching him get 123 yards and 2 TDs I wondered if the Seahawks might be able to draft him in the future. I would never have imagined we could get him in the 7th round.

Good late-round bargain. I've viewed RB as a 4th round or later position for 20+ years now, and an early pick would probably just end up injured like all our other RBs. Gotta keep drafting RB periodically to avoid handing out 2nd contracts.

I may be biased as an OSU grad- but yeah Martinez is impressive. He has phenomenal vision and feet. Very little dancing. Also a really great dude. Love the late pick.

Martinez should have been a day 2 pick but that is how deep the RB group was this year. Honestly this is a clear signal to me that Mac and Kubiak are serious about running the football.

I like Martinez a lot. But he should be a cautionary tale to some guys jumping to new schools for some quick money. He would have been a likely 3-4 rounder last year. Chased a bag at Miami hoping to make some money and get his stock up, and fell down the draft boards.

I hope he comes in hungry and aggressive. Iron sharpens iron.

Please no, McIntosh is a perfect scat back all he does is get positive yards.
Man…I feel the same yet, Vermin is right.

How do we keep 4? Also, is K9 ok?

As it stands, I’m loving our RB room…
