I found that I like to see if I have a finger on the pulse of NFL teams and decided I would try to keep going what one of our members used to do before taking a leave.

Here are the favorites for this weekend and underdogs.

EDIT: Stolen from EC's post

FavoriteUnderdog
Carolina@Tampa Bay
@DetroitDallas
@Kansas CityCleveland
@New EnglandMiami
@New OrleansBuffalo
@PhiladelphiaNew York (NYG)
San Francisco@Jacksonville
@CincinnatiNew York (NYJ)
Pittsburgh@Oakland
@DenverWashington
@ArizonaAtlanta
Green Bay@Minnesota
Seattle@St. Louis

See any upsets looming?

**EDIT**
So far, only 2 upsets.

Raiders and NY Giants.

Depends on how hurt Manning is. I would go Skins.

Atlanta over Cardinals isn't a huge upset, I say Falcons.

Tampa cannot be that terrible. I am taking the Bucs.

The parser sort of craps out if you put line feeds (new lines) between any of the tags. It throws all of the new lines into your post above the table if you do. That's why it's condensed ;)

Oh, and I'm picking Oakland, NYG and Dallas as upsets this week.

Yeah, I always build em in a way a human can read them, then remove all the spaces and new lines when I post em.

You can give an old dog new teeth and better hearing, right? Sign me up for a re-model.

Biggest long shot that I could see happen is Cleveland over KC because Weeden benched = another Browns win, but they'll have to do it on D.

Jets over Cincy would be the most likely upset though.

What about Washington and Denver? Both have crap D and can put up points, although Denver has a huge advantage at WR.

I see the Jets, Giants, Washington, Oakland and Minnesota.

Geno looks good right now, so I can see them pulling one out, but it will be close. Eli and the Giants, while looking horrible beating the Vikings, can still pull off a win against a lackluster Philly team. Washington is getting it's groove back, and RGIII is looking much better than the start of the year and I see him helping will the team to a W. Oakland and Pryor are a Cinderella story right now. That kid has actually made the Raiders look good, and I can see them beating a very slow Stealer team.

Now, Minny is a tough one for me, but I think with Ponder back (he's not great mind you) he is their best option right now. Yes Frazier messed up by putting in Freeman, but I don't see him as their answer, or Cassell, or Ponder for that matter. But Ponder has beat Green Bay before, and they definitely have the weapons to do it with as long as he keeps his head on straight.

I play a pick the winners contest with three other guys at work (no spreads involved) and unknowingly picked every single favorite this week. Was real close to taking Dullass and Oakland and Atlanta but didn't. So, I guess I have no upset specials this week. :hmmmm:

Yes they can. Carolina is a lot better than their 3-3 record indicates, so this will be a chance to move their record more in-line with their level of play.

For my upset I'll take Dallas over Detroit. I don't know the point spread for that game, but I imagine its got to be 3 or less, so I'm not really going out on much of a limb with this pick.

For a more bold prediction, how about the Jaguars over 49ers? Yes I know the Jaguars are terrible, and they don't have any offensive tackles anymore, but it could be a trap game for the 49ers and they have to travel all the way from the west coast to London. The Jaguars only have to travel half that distance. Still, its going to take a lot of luck, but I think it could happen.

Only ones I can see happening is Miami over New England, Oakland over Pittsburgh, and NYG over Philly.
