it's really not. I always pull for college QB's that I know have the talent to make it in the NFL.

Hating a QB who you probably know very little about is weird. See, I can do that too.
This conversation is weird. Who gives a flying F if someone hopes a guy does well in the NFL, even if he's not a Seahawk?

Guilty as charge. He's maybe my all-time favorite UW QB. I'll always root for him to kick a**, as long as it doesn't hurt the Hawks chances and/or if they play each other. But I'm weird too, so it all kind of makes sense.

I’m not as big of a UW fan as you @SoulfishHawk , but man Dawg fans have been pretty spoiled by the NFL QB factory that is the UW.

Moon, Pelluer, Chandler, Brunell, Huards, Browning, Tui, Penix.

I hope it continues for the next generation.

Michael Penix is looking like the real deal. Good for him.

There was that question last year about whether UW's offensive success was due to Penix or everyone around him. Well, we know now that it wasn't all Ryan Grubb. And it doesn't look like it was all of his receivers--Rome Odunze (54 catches), Ja'Lynn Polk (12) and Jalen McMillan (37). While they may still become good NFL receivers, they aren't looking like superstars right now.

Odunze is going to be a stud and I think Mcmillan started to really show something late. I do think Odunze has a chance to be a really good pro.

I remember a couple of scouts saying Penix on take is the best passer in the whole class and they were right. Dude is going to be a superstar if he can stay healthy
