Penix is going to have to outplay the poor coaching on his own sideline. Going to be tough.

I'm rooting for him. Need to take a few deep shots to London soon

I was not a Penix believer when he was drafted.

I think that may have been a little short sighted.

Penix is doing his best. But I don't think you can overcome a bad coach.

The Falcons defense is trying. The offense has a great QB and very good RB. They even have decent/above average receivers. Their line is not a glaring weakness. There really is no excuse for them to struggle like they do.

But they do because they have a below average coach with below average coaching staff. We will see if Penix and Bijon can overcome that...but it will be tough.

EDIT:
Penix isn't having a good game either. Middling QB play, combined with poor coaching (the OC is slow with horrific playcalling, and Morris might be a bottom-5 HC), isn't a great recipe. The Falcons are going to look back at those 3 drives and wonder what happened. 3 FGs won't be enough.
