Either more TDs or more INTs. But can’t really blame Mahomes for this. He knows what he’s doing. And he has 3 rings to back it up.

It's interesting to think about how this strategy might affect the team's dynamics. Do you think Mahomes's confidence with pushing the ball downfield will lead to more explosive plays? Absolutely, with his talent and experience, there's a good chance we'll see more touchdowns. But on the flip side, taking risks could increase the interception rates, don't you agree? Ultimately, it's a high-risk, high-reward approach, and Mahomes seems to thrive under those conditions. His track record with three rings certainly gives him the credibility to make such calls. By the way check our games at Pokizino Casino pokizino-australia.com it is safe and there are a lot of bonuses.

It could be that coach is preparing him that eventually he’ll slow down and not be able to deliver the hits like is does when he runs. Idk. Thats my guess

The league is again transitioning to more hard-nosed, run balanced offenses and for a period, defenses that are still biased toward sitting back and taking away the big play will be forced to drop an extra man into the box to counter and thus will be vulnerable to strong rushing attacks and big plays off of play action.

Mahomes statement is simply recognizing this vulnerability and looking to exploit it. Over the past few years, the NFL passing game as a whole was one predicated on the short to medium game.

This is in part why guys like Russ began to struggle around 2020 when defenses began sitting back and forcing QBs to find the underneath routes and plays in the middle of the field. Rushing attacks had been devalued to the point they could afford to play safeties high.

A shift back to pre 2020 strategies on bith sides of the ball means that if you havr a string ground game in the next few years, the deep ball will be there again, as will the sideline routes that were better accoubted for by virtue of the fact defenses didnt have to hold LBs closer to the LOS.

Mahomes just doesn't have the weapons to push the ball downfield. Their entire offense revolves around horizontal throws and Taylor Swift's boyfriend finding space in the zone. Things should open up with Hopkins, forcing defenses out of two high and opening up those downfield passes.

That was one hell of a pickup for the Chiefs. Some people acting like Hopkins is washed. I highly doubt it. He still has plenty in the tank, imo. It's amazing what a change of scenery can do for a player. And going to the back-to-back champs and the best QB in the league helps.
