Jalen hurts Philly's chances. Wow Philly sucks this year too. I suspect Washington and Dallas both beat Philly out in the division. If they play like this they'll be fighting the Giants for the cellar.

The players are slipping all over the place. Field conditions are terrible. This might not be a good game to judge how good these teams are.

TD Eagles.

Green Bay's front 4 were giving them problems the first half. Philly been good at picking up the first down when needed, though.

Good game so far. Love will likely strike back.

Jfc so he gets hit up top (legal) but in this replay I saw in slo-mo, Jalen Carter Reaches up and wraps around Loves Ankle and twists the one .. what a pos.

I think so, and anything we read off of this game (good and bad) might be hard to interpret for the future. A lot of good passes got missed because a guy slipped on his route (and a good chunk of the good plays came up because defenders did the same). That said, there was a lot of throwing the ball (by Hurt and Love) right into the chest, hands, and face of opposing defenders. It was multi-pick game that could have easily had double the amount of INTs.

One thing that I have noticed with these international games regarding the field conditions is that every single one I've watched to this point, I see teams doing cleat exchange on the sideline mid-game... how do they not know to use different cleats when playing at these international stadiums? I mean, it's a running theme but even if it wasn't... how are they not figuring this out during pre-game warmups? They've got an entire staff whose job it is to know this, yet this happens every time.

My Gawd...the officiating is horrible.!!
There were some real head scratcher calls but I think that was exacerbated by all the legit calls. There were a couple of plays where I just was like 'not another flag' only to see, yeah, they really did do it.

Packers had blatant illegal shifts multiple times that were just so obvious as well. Officiating wasn't great but the teams were sloppy out there as well. Chalking it up to week 1 for the moment.

That's gonna be a season ender for Love I'd bet. Wow, Green Bay's season could be over in week one!
Yeah, that's really unfortunate. Not sure if I think Carter was trying to hurt Love or just make the play from the ground, but it does not look good for Green Bay right now.
