Amazing how many teams have resorted to the blitz. They cannot run 4 down linemen effectively. live by the blitz and die by the blitz.

I know they got the sack on 3rd down...but did they blitz alot on the first drive? I felt like I was looking for more blitzing guys, watched Darnold quickly dump it off, but didn't really see heavy pressure.

Lots of blitzing and corners playing up taking away quick routes. Need to run the ball and take some deep shots.

Scary…blitzing teams should be easy to defeat offensively. Especially when they’re not disguising it (like Minnesota).

Makes one wonder about Sam under pressure.

I’m very happy with Sammy D…I am. Still looking for that guy that can avoid turnovers and doesn’t get ‘shook’ under pressure.

We don’t even need crazy stats from him. A 14/25 game, 200 yards…1 TD and NO turnovers will win games with this team.

After two failed screens and a sack I would say that we are dying by the blitz. Our O line can't handle it and neither can Darnold.

They showed blitz pre-snap they didn't bring it.

Absolutely and that’s where Sam has to grow. It’s not just defenses living and dying by the blitz… Sam has to beat the blitz as well. That’s the next step for him if this offense is going to stay balanced and dangerous.
