I don't mind Ford's contract as much because it's expiring cleanly and then it helps the comp pick situation next off-season.

I hope they are thoroughly shopping Gabe Jackson around. It costs us $6m this season to trade him, but perhaps another team would be interested in his services at a reduced 6m/6.5m price for the next two seasons. More importantly that gets him off our books for 2023 and we should be playing youth this year anyway.
