Bump said pre-season interceptions are overrated. He even said sometimes the qb is told to throw to a spot so the defense gets a look. Just interesting with all the attention on darnolds picks and tds. Its practice…

Yeah, until the pads go on and they start hitting each other the stats are kinda meaningless and hard to read. They're working on formations and drills and timing issues. I can't worry about that kind of thing.

Making a big deal out of those int's at this time of year was just inane. Not surprised about the attention it got though, in this day and age.

Salk can't live without drama and/or some kind of conspiracy. It's his thing. Some like it, many don't. To each his/her own.

Ok so I don’t know why I didn’t think of this but Cal vs Juliallstar in the HR derby!!! Wow thanks Salk Brock’s an idiot.

Plus they said Julio did way better after the derby, like hit .400 for 5 weeks

I didn't want Cal in there, but now I'm pretty stoked to watch it. Esp. doing it from both sides of the plate.

It’s not uncommon for a player to be kicking ass in the first half of the season than try to adjust their swing because they are participating in the HR derby which f*cks up their swing and can’t get it back. For the Mariners sake Raleigh should just play in the All Star game for 2-3 innings and call it a day

They were talking about maybe the homerun derby will help Juliallstar to start getting the ball out of the infield a little more regularly
This could result in more fly outs and pop ups he is a line drive hitter he is better off doing what he does well. Home run hitters who have an upper cut swing need to have perfect timing a line drive hitter is much more forgiving since the bat is in the hitting zone for a longer period of time
