I cringe every time I see someone that's joined in 2013.....I know I'm not alone.

Why it's not as if all the 12's know about this site. I've been a fan for life and had know idea this site existed until last year. And even then I don't post an awful lot. Does that make me less of a fan?

As a diehard from 1976, I can personally tell you there has never been anything like this before as SEAHAWKS fans. As for other fanbases? Absolutely! Look at how well travelled the Packers fans have been for YEARS. Stealers, Cowboys fans among others. It's certainly not a new phenomenon, but when it happens to your team?

You know the team is reaching elite status.

Aros - I agree with most things you post. Perhaps we were separated at birth?

The icing to your statement and comparisons to GB, PIT, DAL, SF, NYG, etc will be made once the Seahawks finish a season with a SB win. Nobody will ever take that away from us. The depth of Twelvedom will continue to expand over the next 38 years just as the first 38 of pluckiness in the Patera/Zorn/Largent years and the success of the Knox/Warner/Easley/Kreig years alongside the dominance of the Holmgren/Alexander/Jones/Hasselbeck eras. We have lived a lifetime of Seahawks memories and we are ready to expand and become historic!!

Let's not get things twisted here.

Fact: It's no coincidence that the influx of new members has diluted the quality of threads that once existed here.

There are exceptions to the rule, I get that.

I suppose those of you that say we should embrace all new fans/attention are the same ones that enjoy reading crap threads involving polls of what jersey to buy or what it will be like to attend their first game.

Gimme a break.

It's like a bunny slope--yes it served a purpose ages ago, but I have no interest in being reminded on basic skills while I'm trying to challenge myself on double diamonds.

It is what it is.

Thankfully there are still quality posts from a few members (like Kearly) that make it worth sifting through the abundance of mindless drivel that runs rampant in this "blessed" season of ours.
