So the top 30 visits were an unobtainable wish list built to deceive because Jon is so clever we don't need talented players. We waltzed past awesome picks. Worse draft ever.

After listening to the Seahawks draft call to Bud Clark, I get the impression that Bud Clark was a 30-visit with the Seahawks. I know he wasn't listed as a 30-visit on the draft internet sites or reported as one by the media, but Seahawks scout Josh Graff made it sound like Clark was up here last week.

Graff told Clark "you ready to come back to the Northwest" "I told you, you were going to come back up here in a week" "see those bald eagles again"

This was a beautiful draft, the only negative was when JS told his game plan to the world and it cost a trade down option.

I am all in on Price, but a back up RB could have been had at #37 and those 5 spots could have gotten a 6th round pick. But it's whatever, solid draft!

Nope. Worste draft ever. Our best pick was a D
To grade an exam you need to know the correct answers, or, in cases where there is not a definative correct answer known, know significantly more on the subject that the person being tested, so there are 3 possible reasons that you give our "best" pick a D.

  1. You have a time machine and know how all the picks pan out over the next few years
  2. You know far more about the draft class and the current team that JS and the rest of the team in the draft room, if that is the case I would love to know your experiance and qualifications, why are you not our GM?
  3. You grading our picks is akin to a 6th grader marking a PhD paper.
Which is correct?

Had nothing to do with what was and wasn't said

The main benefit to 32 is for that extra year of control and that value is it's highest for the QB position.

The Rams grabbed Simpson well ahead of the pick and there were no R2 QBs.

Looking at the players in the first handful of spots in the 2nd round, which team would have given assets to guarantee that player and value of that extra year of control

I really don't see one - the draft just didn't break in a way favorable to move down

Honestly I feel like you are rage baiting because you are bored... We've had some posters but even the dudes with your posting numbers aren't this nutty this time of year.

What school do you coach at. Could you give us some actual insight vs... off the cuff comments with no substance?

I think the visits are good to do regardless of the player is drafted or not. Sometimes times these players fall in the draft order (and few might catch a break) or teams let them go a couple of seasons in thinking they are a bust or do not fit into the drafted teams culture. That way we have our own insight into them and not relying on opinion from other teams.
