So the top 30 visits were an unobtainable wish list built to deceive because Jon is so clever we don't need talented players. We waltzed past awesome picks. Worse draft ever.

The Jets are geniuses. We can regrade this draft in 3 years but no one will remember their names. Too much Scotch Jon. While some people can drink and maintain, you have lost your mind.

Sure. We go through this every year, you are mad Seahawks didn’t get “your” guy. However, on the flip side…In terms of obtainable players at our picks.

Price was my RB1. He’s not a sexy choice but a logical one for a team not only needing to replace a play-maker in Walker but also needing to replace Charbs snaps until he returns.

Only thing that was truly disappointing was the lack of a trade down but hate on Buffalo and 49ers for monopolizing the market. And considering another RB wasn’t chosen until 90 showing just how barren this RB class really is, theres a real chance Price doesn’t last if we traded down.

Clark was my #2 safety prospect behind Treydan Stukes. (However, Thieneman would have been #1 had he reached 32). Stukes and Clark were almost neck to neck in which one I liked more but Stukes took top spot based on better athletic testing.

Neal was on a short list of boundary specific corners of traits I thought the Seahawks would likely target: Size, Length ( specifically at least 77 inch wing span), strength, and a physical downhill presence. Neal might not be the best overall athlete or most refined coverage player of the bunch but he might be the most physical player.

That list was Igbinosun, Everette, Neal, and Prysock. Devin Moore was in the mix too with only an eighth of an inch off from 77. As well as, Tacario Davis and VJ Payne but their run defense was a good drop off from the others.

But with that said, all of the players Seahawks drafted I actually liked, even loved. Yet, am I loving this draft. No, because this draft class is just wonky AF. Its more of get your guys and fill needs draft then a BPA type draft. If those two criteria aligned then lucky you.

However, lot of teams have drove or are driving their fanbases nut with negative questionable emotions right now of all the work and time we put in wanting to improve our team and perhaps wanting to be right.

I just dont think the Seahawks should be considered one of them, its not a sexy draft but they have filled holes with good players that fit their culture. I dont give grades anymore but Seahawks have had a solid draft with the resources they had and they likely will sign a veteran pass-rusher to plug Mafe’s departure.
