Rylie Mills isn't human.

He's just not. LOL

(btw, just to clarify, he did not say the quote above. I made it up to make it funny, okay?)

I love Macdonald. I've been begging for someone to have more of this for years and it was awesome to see Mike not being afraid to chastise a player and take control. Hall to his credit handled it well too and you want him to have an edge.

Darnold is so underrated. That segment was super cool.

Man it was good. I dont get the shadowboxing thing but they sure do!

Sam’s spiral… Such a honed quality craft.
I think the idea is this :

- Your opponent points/gestures to one direction and your job is to NOT go/point/gesture in the same direction as your opponent.

- So if he points/gestures LEFT, you do it either UP, DOWN, or RIGHT.

- And when it's your turn, you try and get your opponent to go the same direction.

- If you go the same direction when it's your opponent's turn, you lose.

- If your opponent does when it's your turn, you win.

Love these episodes!

You really do get in insider's take. We would never otherwise here Mt. Mike explode like that otherwise. There's NO question who is in charge of this team. I imagine teams and coaches watching across the league are looking at us and thinking things like "Uh, we don't have that level of leadership and togetherness. We got work to do."

HBO is doing a fantastic job capturing the essence of what truly makes a championship team. It's not just the work on the field and the skill and talent...It's the true unity and devotion to one another that separates.

Tuesdays are now becoming my favorite day of the week this month!

Alas, Hard Knocks only lasts 3 more episodes.

Oh well. Going to enjoy it while it lasts.

I love the aftermath of it too where MacDonald reassures him that everything's good "you're still my guy".

Similar thing with the interaction with JSN and the receivers coach.

Yeah, when they explained it a little like rock paper scissors and showed a free examples, I could start to see it

Overall a bit silly, but they are really into it and it seems like it meets whatever purpose they need from it and it also isn't something that can be competitive to the point where ego and related fights and arguments can come from it - the right amount of silly

It may appear that way, but I don't think it's silly. I think it has a purpose.

I think it sharpens the mind, teaches them to read, analyze, make the correct choice, and react, quickly.

It felt weird seeing Hall get chewed out for practicing his craft. I understand protect the QB but which side covered for Sam Darnold's miscues in the super bowl?

You can’t have your QB1 getting injured via friendly fire. I’m sure it’s hard for those lineman to pull up when they can smell a sack… but team rules and expectations are there for a reason.

I was happy to see Mike laying down the law and then coming back to “hug it out,” so to speak.

If it’s not time to hump, there should be no humping!

I just want fans to yell “stay away from the quarterback!!!” or “Not Smart!!!” when he’s on the sideline make his teammates laugh at him lol

I’m with you on this.

I absolutely believe the psychological aspects are much deeper than what appears on the surface.
