I saw the Emmanwori clip in Mac's office and changed my tune about watching it. It was a brilliant exchange and a masterclass in tutelage

It was free with my Xfinity.
It was free with whatever package you have with Xfiniti. It was free with the one I had as well, but we reduced the package to a less-expensive one and dropped a buttload of channels that we never watched anyway. Now, to re-subscribe to just HBO Max would be about $20/month. For just the opportunity to see the Seahawks in Hard Knocks, and then have to deal with the nightmare which is trying to un-subscribe from anything with those folks, that whole scene is just not worth it to me.

Edit: For all I know, subscribing to HBO Max for $20/month might also accidentally include other channels as well. Still not worth the trouble.

Never watched an episode in the past and not a fan of reality TV (that's what my limited understanding of it is). I will probably tune in tonight to check it out, but prefer updates from people who know the game, out team, and have legit takes on how things are progressing.

No HBO Max here either. I have enough streaming services nickel and diming me. I'll wait for the reviews before considering it. I don't think they give free trials. Cheap bastards.

I might turn it in if I had HBO, but probably not. I don’t watch much TV except live sports. Put me down for “Other”

Never have watched it, but this is also the first time the Seahawks have been on it, have not ever got a chance to see a practice either and this is better in that we can hear whats going on and not just chatter from a distance, also the inside the building stuff and how the "operate" may be interesting. I am thinking that Mac and John are savvy enough they will not do normal.

Show was fantastic. Love seeing some of the behind the scenes stuff and getting to see the players interactions off the field. So pumped for this season. The show is totally worth the money for a month of HBO max.

I need this shirt. My attempt at custom ink dot com didn't look good.

It was a good show, really enjoyed it. A few thoughts --

MM is a natural. Great presence, great voice, true leader. Really impressive. The team made the right choice in him.

The new RB coach Hammond was a bit hard to listen to, every other word was an f-bomb, and I've always felt people that swore to that extent did so because they didn't know the words to express themselves. Not a good look. Still wondering what happened to Kennedy Polamalu.

Lot of emphasis on Sam and JSN naturally, they're the stars. One of the guys on D, forgot who, showed up on Day 1 in a tricked out pickup truck that looked wild. Loved the ring ceremony, they basically dropped the rings down from the ceiling. Funny to see the guys try them on, they are HUGE.

I attended practices a few years ago and recall the QBs wearing red jerseys in practice, looks like they're putting them in throwbacks now. A little strange because the color isn't radically different from the current navy blue.

The offense seems way ahead of the D right now, they were doing whatever they wanted. There were the usual fights, but that's going to happen sometimes. Coaches handled it well.

Overall a fun show, I don't think it's worth getting HBO Max for this, but if you have it, it's worth a look. I'll probably watch the rest of the series.
