I definitely like it when he throws TDs without adding any INTs. Especially when we aren't piing up running yardage like we should. I think Darnold posted a 153+ passer rating today. Tough to beat that.

He still needs to show that when the pressure is extreme that he doesn’t spaz out. I guess that comes from experience. Darnold has been around awhile but he has low mileage. Like my 1996 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme with only 72,000 miles, she’s still a baby

And Sam got that experience last season with those final two games.

NFL Football is just as much MENTAL as it is physical.

I don't think Sam was ready Mentally for those moments.

I mean let's be honest here : Prior to that, he's never been in a situation like what happened (he was usually playing out the string in NY and CAR).

Hopefully, now that he's experienced what exactly to really expect, he will be better prepared mentally.
