Love the mis-use of the word 'queue' LMAO. The writer needs to get a clue that s/he meant "cue" before s/he gets in the unemployment queue.

Some fun rebuttal from the 12th man...

Well, niner fans...what will it be??? You going to try to get loud?...or are you going to write to the NFL that homefans need to be quiet? :141847_bnono:

LMAO! You'd think fans of a storied franchise which has 5 golden rings would have a clue of what to do at football games. This is approaching "Ram Rules" territory.

Is there any actual proof that this letter was sent from the 49er org? I don't know any STH that received it.

It looks like the letter source is all coming from a twitter account of a seahawk fan with 400 followers?

A pro seahawks site claims a different company made this claim.... but provides no proof. And this is your proof. Gotcha.

To be honest, I would not have a problem with the 49ers educating their fans. I do every game day. Seahawks fans do the same. Its a good thing. At some point the seahawk org likely did something similar, rather at at game, or in a packet, or online.

But, I think this is made up.

You stated the only source you had seen was a twitter account. I pointed the 710 AM Sports radio article out to you.

I didn't say you had to believe it.

Gotcha, thanks.

Ya it looks like this is some attempt by seahawks fans to put down the 49er fan base. Why they are against fan education or think educating fans is a bad thing, I do not know. York or 49ers would of tweeted it if it came from the org.

Did anyone hear the audio version today on KJR about 3:00. It's too funny and would probably piss off the players, it calls for cheering and all the stuff written but alos says drink up and tailgate and then go find some Seahawks fans to beat opn or close and then wtach the game and help the 49ers injure players. Paraphrasing but it's in the audio version.

I'm a STH for the 49ers and I did not receive this letter. I think it was an internal memo of regarding the potential letter to be sent out. Who knows. There are a lot of dumb fans at the game tho who don't know when to cheer and when to be quiet. It is what it is.

Here is an update. The Everett Herald is showing a copy of what they state is an internal memo from Jamie Brandt of the 49ers announcing the "Rules of Engagement". In the memo he states that he wants Candlestick to be a "Red Storm" on Sunday.

Again, I'm not claiming this is or is not real. I'm only passing along the link as I found it very interesting.....

It's sad when your team has to send out a reminder of how to cheer. Any thoughts on 49ers plea to fans?

INTRODUCING THE 49ERS HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE PLAN FOR GAMEDAY

STEP 1: DRESS THE PART
Pull out your favorite 49ers gear and put your loyalty on display. Wear Red!

STEP 2: BE ON TIME
Arrive early and give yourself time to enjoy the tailgate experience,
but remember to get to your seat for player introductions. We
need you there to give your 49ers a proper greeting as they
run onto the Bill Walsh Field!

STEP 3: KNOW YOUR QUEUES
OUIET ON OFFENSE!
Communication is critical at the line of scrimmage. Keep it
quiet when the 49ers are lining up to the ball on offense. Save
the noise for the play!

DEAFENING ON DEFENSE
These are the fans' downs. This is when we throw the other team
off there game. From start to finish, when the 49ers are on defense
don't let the other team's offense hear the play call or the snap
count. Impact the game!

RITUALS AND RALLYING CRIES
"LET'S GO NINERS!": You likely know this one better than any
other..... simple but pure. Listen for the drum queues and let
hear you, Faithful!

FIRST DOWN CRY: Introduced at the start of last season,
the chant grew to the point where it was heard throughout the
Superdome during the Super Bowl. When we announce the 49ers
first down on offense, you come back with "Ahhh-Oooo, Ahhh-
Oooo, Ahhh-Oooo!" This is are celebratory battle cry!

FOG HORN PREGAME: You will hear this sound at the 90
(three blasts), 60 (two blasts), and 30 (one blast) minute marks
prior to kickoff. This is are way of letting you know the show is
about to begin. Get to your seats!

FOG HORN SCORE: The fog horn blast follows any type of
49ers score: Touchdown, Field Goal, or Safety. If you hear the
fog horn during play, start celebrating faithful cause your
49ers just scored!

LOL, and the Seattle Seahawks are not a rival...Anyone 49er fan that claims the Hawks are not a rival and not in their fan bases head is just retarded or a flat out liar. The Hawks are their rival and the Hawks fans make a difference. 49er fans don't. Think about that, must suck knowing sitting on your ass waiting for something to happen is not what your rivals fan base does. Hawk fans are on their feet for the whole game and make as much noise as they can at the appropriate time. It takes effort and acceptance that your voice will be shot the next couple of days to do this and some like minded 49er fans understand. Most niner fans don't however don't. It's much easier to just complain. Look at that thread on webzone talking specifically about this. PATHETIC and half the posters said so, the others are making excuses.
BTW, the NFL noise rule was partially initiated because of the Hawks crowd in the Kingdome. I was a game in the 90's and horse face backed away from center bitching about the noise and was told get the action moving. People think it's loud in Quest field, the Kingdome was louder. 49er fans seem to think the NFL world revolves around them. Similar to some other really obnoxious fan bases. Dallas, Stealers, Patriots, Giants and Jets come to mind...

Enjoy sitting down and quietly watching the Hawks kick your teams ass for the 3rd consecutive time. Don't are how many petitions are signed, the NFL will not tell the fan base to keep quite and putting mics and speakers in all of the offensive players would be the same as telling the home crowd to shush. Aint going to happen.
