Nickel Corner - Maxwell or Lane?

First, I'll admit straight up to watching the broadcasts only and haven't watched any all-22, but do seem to recall one game where Maxwell was absolutely phenomenal playing in the slot. I'm hearing a lot about the Patriots needing to use a lot of shot-intermediate passing routes to win this game.

Should Carroll consider lining Lane (or Simon) up on the outside and Maxwell in the slot in nickel packages?

According to the the practice reports, Lane has made some big plays in the slot. I would expect to see Lane there for the most part.

If Brandon LaFell played more in the slot, I bet you would see Maxwell in the slot. But LaFell is not that kind of player.
