Trade: The #Seahawks are trading C Nick Harris and a 2026 7th round pick to the #Browns for a 2026 6th round pick.Harris was previously in Cleveland for three years and signed in Seattle this offseason. Cleveland now gets him back.

Must be content with Williams and Olu manning the center position.

Eating the signing bonus sucks but it’s better than getting nothing back in return. Really hope Williams can stay healthy

Hawks just moved up a round in the draft for nothing. Classic Browns. Just gave up draft Capital to get a guy they could have resigned for next-to nothing.

Probably could have, but I suspect he's worth more to us than he'd net in a trade right now.

I think this move shows some confidence in Olu anyway, given that our probable starter is only like eight months removed from an ACL tear.
Your probably right. I may not given Olu a fair chance to prove himself yet.

To me it says that Olu "won" the competition but they are not wanting to start him yet.
Kind of like Lemuel JeanPierre a few years back, he wasn't very good, Aaron Donald abused him like a traffic cone, but he was just better than every other option the Seahawks had, and knew how to play together with the rest of the line, so the Seahawks kept bringing him back. That and the fact that Aaron Donald made a traffic cone out of nearly everyone.

So we traded and upgraded a pick and signed a quality center...Seahawks win..Browns win

"During Saturday's 23-10 preseason loss to the Packers the Browns saw backup center Luke Wypler go down with a serious ankle injury and leave the field on the medical cart. Head coach Kevin Stefanski later confirmed that the Ohio State product had fractured his ankle and would require surgery. He wasn't willing to commit to the injury being season ending but Wypler is expected to be sidelined for an extended period of time."

As an additional note: Jalen Sundell played surprisingly well in his debut at center. They might have found a developmental project and backup for the practice squad.

Seahawks are cooking on the Center position I hear. They are signing one just about now.
