Looks like there is excellent coverage in the western parts of the country (excluding the Southwest) and around the Indiana region, and a lot of little spots spread out throughout in different areas. Be sure to check the map for your specific area. Alaska and Hawaii have the Seahawks game this weekend as well.

Broadcasters: Kevin Burkhardt, John Lynch

As an aside, I will be traveling next wednesday, so if someone else would please post this information when it comes out. It's out a little early today, but is usually out around Noon or 1pm Seattle time. Thanks

UPDATES:
Richmond VA: PHI-NYG to SEA-IND
Chico and Eureka CA: SEA-IND to DET-GB

One area adds the Seahawks, while Two areas switch from Seahawks to Lions/Packers

Where do they come up with what game is shown where (for obvious out of market places)?

Is it up to the individual broadcasting compaines? or some national executive panel??

For instance, why is Los Angeles getting the Saints game where just north and over in Corpus Christi, Texas and West Palm Beach, Florida get Seattle...

Every week I look forward to this post. It helps me plan my weekend and cements my thoughts on the Seahawks, NFL and life.

If you're outside a specific teams market it's up to the local affiliate to choose what they feel will get them the best ratings. If within a team's market, then there are specific rules that do apply which are a bit more complex

Why wouldn't they be showing the Seattle game to the entire West Coast? Instead, they're gonna show the Chicago/New Orleans game in LA because it will get better ratings?? I don't get it.

Only those local stations can say how they decide. Up here, the FOX affiliate almost always shows the Seahawks games unless they are out of the running, whereas the CBS affiliate rarely shows the Seahawk games. Same market, different local affiliate, different choices

CBS can't show Seahawks games generally speaking. CBS get's the AFC, FOX get the NFC.

So the majority of the time FOX will be carrying Seahawks games. On games between different conferences the away team decides whether it's a CBS game or a FOX game.

So when New England @ Seattle last year was a CBS game, Seattle @ Houston this year was a FOX game. Titans @ Seattle next week will be a CBS broadcast next week.

I was speaking of the two CBS games we generally get per year. They almost NEVER make it on the local CBS affiliate. I pretty much have to count on going out somewhere else to watch them, even though the Seahawks are one of the most popular teams locally. It was just an example of how no matter the market, the local affiliate still gets to pick and choose which game they show (under the rules of which networks get which games of course)

Oh so close but yet so far away. If you live in Michigan, you are stuck watching Detroit and other NFC North teams. Looks like I will be watching it online.

Feels like the Seahawks are on in California every week now. I love it!

Not where I'm at in the LA tv market (even though I'm a 100 miles or so from LA). Apparently they hate the Seahawks... they'd rather show Jags vs Browns or some shit. Maybe they harbor some resentment for the Hawks for never moving there. 8)

As a resident of Sonoma, CA I have also been pleased with TV coverage. I did a little analysis based on the decision factors as I understand them (mostly involving when the Niners and Raiders are playing- so depends on where in Cal/NorCal you might be) and this is what I came up with:

Week 5 @ Indy (10/6) is good
Week 6 vs TEN (10/13)-- Forty-Whiners are playing, find a bar or a friend with the Ticket
Week 7 @ ARZ (10/17)-- TNF on the NFL Network
Week 8 @ STL (10/28)-- MNF on ESPN
Week 9 vs TB (11/3)-- Forty-Whiners are playing, find a bar or a friend with the Ticket
Week 10 @ ATL (11/10)-- likely blocked due to Raiders 10am @ NYG; find a bar or a friend with the Ticket
Week 11 vs MIN (11/17)-- Forty-Whiners are playing, find a bar or a friend with the Ticket
Week 12 BYE
Week 13 vs NO (12/2)-- MNF on ESPN
Week 14 @ SF (12/8)-- COME JOIN ME FOR THE STOMPING AT THE 'STICK
Week 15 @ NYG (12/15)-- Forty-Whiners are playing, find a bar or a friend with the Ticket
Week 16 vs ARZ (12/22)-- likely blocked due to Raiders 1pm @ SD find a bar or a friend with the Ticket
Week 17 vs STL (12/29)-- Forty-Whiners are playing, find a bar or a friend with the Ticket
PLAYOFFS!
