So I know for a fact he was saying that he thinks there is no way our CB's can match up with Julio and White if the Refs call penalties correctly. He borderline called them cheaters. Then he goes and picks them?

Are these guys trained to purposely be boinkers in the head just to stir up talk?

Well not ONE person picked the Ravens OR the Texans so obviously not.
And I personally guarantee that they'll all be wrong as a result. The Broncos and Patriots are better teams, no doubt. But Peyton Manning is a CHOKER.

Still a lot of love for the Seahawks there though, 11-7 in our favour

Peyton Manning a choker? I guess that's why he's a superbowl MVP... right?

Only once though. A guy with his talent and god knows how many 13 win seasons should have 4 superbowls MVPs to his name by now. Hell even his little brother has 2.

If he'd come up against any quarterback other than Rex Grossman in 2006 he'd have none.

Hes one of the best hands down. But his playoff record is tarnished with many upsets and choke games. Not seeing this is having the blinders on.

If Reggie Wayne didn't run a lazy route he'd have 2.

I just watched that play again, couldn't remember it at all.
That's not a lazy route, that's just bad timing by one or the other, you can't put the blame on the WR there, Porter read it absolutely perfectly and Manning put the ball in a place that was easy for him to pick off (should have put it at the other side of the WR).

Choked yet again

Not an impressive résumé but I thought he got rid of all his postseason stigma with a superbowl win. Just don't think it's fair to hate on a guy who ultimately did the one thing people said he couldn't.

He's thinking ATL may choke again.

ATL has to prove they can get that monkey off there back

I think hands down ATL's a better team right now than the Seahawks throw in there at home they should win but there last two playoff games they haven't played anything like the team they were in the regular season. Its hard to say I think the question should be which ATL team shows up the one that played the Giants or the one that played the Panthers?

Nah, he'd have to have done it a couple of times to get rid of it for me. Do it this year and yeah maybe I'll say OK.
But if he chokes again (which I expect), after going on a 10 game win streak in the regular season can you not say he's still a choker.

Just as you would never hold one bad season against a player with a history of playing well, you can't say "well he one the big one... once, he's not a choker", especially considering there are 3 other Quarterbacks in the last decade that have won it twice, with arguably less talent (well, only arguable in the case of Brady, definitely true with regards to Roethlisberger and Eli).

Just as one road win in the playoffs won't erase decades of losing by the Seahawks, we still haven't shed that "poor road team" moniker. If we make it to the Superbowl having won 3 straight, then we'll have gone some way to proving that we're no longer a poor road team, but we'd need to either win 5-6 road games next year in addition (and any road playoff games we have) before I'd finally be happy to say we're not a bad road team

I think hands down the Seahawks are better than the Falcons. Better defense, better special teams, better rushing attack, only thing you have on us is you passing game. You are NOT the better team.

how is this hypocritical. I actually heard a similar statement about the way the officials call this game being a deciding factor when I was watchng the CBS pre-game show.

All Casserly said was that if the officials call every penalty we won't win, but if they let them play it's our advantage. Obviously seeing his pick, he believes the refs will let them play (as they should in the playoffs). Nothing hypocritical about that.
