A linebacker being around every play often means that offenses are targeting him.

Or if you've got a nose for the ball, a la Wagner, Keuchly, etc., you've got instincts and a good football sense. Not that KPL is on the level of Wagner, etc., but maybe he has a nose for the ball...but has no ability to make plays.

It seems every year the Seahawks list of cuts is released last. Maybe it gives the players a chance to get their business in order and talk to their families before the news goes public. I know the team tries to handle these decisions with a lot of care.
