New Surface Ad: Featuring Seahawks

I have the sudden urge to buy a Surface.

Wow. While I think it's pretty good and I enjoyed it, I don't think it's in the discussion for greatest Seahawks commercial of all time, personally. Others I'd rank higher in no particular order:

Sherman's recent Nike commercial
Kurt Russell Seahawks Super Bowl intro
Derrick Coleman's Duracell commercial
Literally half of Matt Hasselbeck's Campbell's Chunky Soup commercials
Russell's first Levi's commercial

I'm sure there are more that I can't think of off the top of my head, but IMO, those are all a cut above this one. *shrug*

I don't know if you can consider that a commercial since it's not really advertising a product per say.
But no Seahawks promo can ever come close to that again. Watching that just telegraphed that the Seahawks were coming to going to annihilate Denver that night. It's full of just awesome quotes

"you hit them, they hit you harder"
"Anything you do they do... better"
"Hit first ask questions later"
"A beast that moves the earth"
"these guys know how to crank it up all the way to 12"

The highlights that went with the video summed up the team perfectly. And Metallica in the background just summing up the whole mood.

The Denver one just looked downright Pathetic with a capital p coming after it.

Wow, that was really awesome. It was like a full team ad, and it was actually a good ad for the product itself.

Maybe little promotional deals like this from the local companies will help keep good players around town a bit longer... Perhaps a Qb, for instance, might not need to cause a giant cap hit if other financial arrangements are made...

Being the face of Seattle might be a good paying gig alone, Mr. Wilson.

Wrong Scott, my ONLY apple product is the phone.
And that's because I'm a dinosaur and don't adapt to well to change.
Once I learned how to use it, I was stuck. My first was a hand me down from Hannah.
Same thing for TAT. It's how I learned to navigate the forums.
Worked fine until last week. :{)

Now I'm forced into change.
I'm in the generation that knows what "dialing" a phone is really like.

Well, I said several posts ago that "I think it's pretty good and I enjoyed it", so I didn't use the word "love"; and using it now might be overstating the case slightly, I'm honestly not sure. I do think it's very good.

Damn, would love to get a Surface Pro 2 or 3.

Man.. i am still totally digging my 1st gen Surface Pro. I have a little dock for it that makes it a full blown PC experience, but for traveling it is unmatched. While on a flight from STL to Seattle i replayed the Super Bowl commercial free with it and hung it on the back of the seat in front of me.

Made a bunch of friends that day. The guy next to me and the couple behind me all watched that game. Would buy the new one but this one is just fantastic.
