Skattebo is projected to be a 4th rounder. Wouldn't be mad spending a late 3rd/early 4th on him and trading Walker for a 2nd round pick that we gave for him to use on the OL; But I'm just an armchair GM.
And one that would’ve been right. I’ve always said that when people make fun of us having an opinion about football/a player, and they state that we should leave it up to the pros, I always say that we see the same exact game tape that they do on players. I can make an equivalent educated opinion on a player as almost any GM out there outside of having a personal interview with that player and watching him in practice. Don’t ever apologize for your thoughts on a player.

I forgot about that post entirely, and I wish they had did just that. Walker isn't exactly lighting it up for us this year, but could you imagine Skattebo on this team with an additional OL?! There'd be no doubt we would be playoff bound and I don't mean wild card.

No, you don't see the same tape as the coaches, and no your opinion is not as "educated" as a GM. Get real.

No, don't apologize for your opinion. Everyone deserves one of their own, but be realistic about how well your opinion is informed. ;)

Walker will be a 2026 FA and Charbonnet will likely get enough snaps to get a $3.75M 2026 salary under the PPE rules. Alternative RBs will be looked at.

GMs also get to talk to some of their old coaches and others etc . they get lots more info than we could ever , also I'm pretty darn sure that there are also tidbits of gossip in their (clique) that none of us would ever be privy to
