Via Yahoo Sports & SF Chronicle...

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- A teenage football fan suffered a concussion and a broken arm and nose at Candlestick Park after police say he was attacked during the San Francisco 49ers 27-7 loss to the Indianapolis Colts this weekend.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported (http://bit.ly/1fezVHs ) that a 29-year-old man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of beating the 15-year-old boy for urinating in the man's car.

Reports of other assaults at the game were also logged with stadium security.

49ers' season ticket holder Daisy Barringer said she was kicked and punched by another 49ers fan.

The 36-year-old said she has seen violence at both home games this year, and during the preseason.

Security was increased at the stadium two years ago after two shootings, a beating and fights broke out during a preseason game with the Oakland Raiders.

You have to be brave going to an Oakland or SF game wearing opponent colors. But it sounds like this dude had it coming.

Yeah, abs' post was definitely funny.

Glove, it's not a deflection, it's simply pointing out that the thread is predicated on a game of pots and kettles. I'd make the exact same post in reverse if someone on the webzone was obsessed enough with the hawks to be making a thread out of the comparable news story I posted.

Well it seems like that's all you're good for lately. When you talk football, i actually like you as a poster. But its like you've been content to just play the passive troll role since the beatdown

I'd like to pee on someone's car.

At Candlestick, urine is considered the air freshener of choice.

So they corrected the story. A 40 yr old man was sent to the hospital because he pissed in a 29-yr olds car. Where the hell they get 15 yr old boy from?

Its becoming a problem with all the stadiums. Like kids fighting just so they can film on camera phones and post of net.

I've got something very inappropriately funny to say to this, but I'll let it slide and just imply it anyways in this passive-aggressive manner. ;)

Indeed...almost too good to pass up. But, we'll show some restraint here. :D

Thanks. TBH I think I've talked more football since then, but I hear ya. Been getting slammed at work so my posting is definitely lazier. In any case, my goal wasn't to troll, although the post definitely came off kind of trollish.

I really should have just said "This seems to be a continuing problem across stadiums, and one that nobody so far has been particularly adept at dealing with."

I suspect we agree that alcohol plays a very meaningful role in many of these cases, and I unfortunately thing it's going to take a high profile case of a fan murdered by another fan in a stadium over something trivial for the NFL to do anything about it.
