I don't have any reason to believe this is true, but at the same time it makes sense. Pete runs this team like a college team where he's the dictator and the players are just spots on the roster. It's great for winning when you're all draft busts from Buffalo and late round picks with something to prove but when you've performed at an exceptional level for a few years it gets to some guys heads. They lose that 'followers' mentality that made them so great in the first place. They stop buying into the system because they get selfish.

It would only be a natural path for some players. I think we clearly have a group of guys like Earl, Sherman, Wagner, Doug, Kearse and Wilson who are still able to put aside their success and be a team member, but Lynch I have been worried about.

It's a believable story, but I'll leave the reality to the off-season moves.
