The working relationship between Kafka & Daboll sure is a weird one. You might remember the back & forth they had last season with who'd be calling plays, then they make him an assistant HC to keep anyone else from hiring him, now Daboll has already decided Kafka isn't gonna be calling plays this season. Geesh!

On one hand, I feel like Kafka should get the heck out of dodge, and on the other hand, I'm kinda glad we didn't end up with him. You'd think that if he excelled at his job, there wouldn't be a back & forth between the two. But in Kafka's defense, he has to work with dollar tree Eli Manning. So...hard to tell.

Daboll never struck me as an 'enlightened' leader. I came away from one of his late season, post game pressers when they were one of the surprises of the league a few years ago thinking he was kind of a douche - like he was 'trying' to play the role of the hardass, tough-guy, new age Parcels or something.

Sucks because i like the Giants.

Dont think he will be around much longer though. Just a hunch.

Daboll is a brilliant mind so him taking over OC duties makes sense to me. The Giants can sneak up on people because WAS, Cowboys and Eagles are all overrated to an extent. DS is a better fit for Daboll's offense than Saquan. And adding a true #1 WR that Nabers has the potential to be really transforms the offense as the rest of the pieces can fit in their respective roles.

Defensively, the Giants are a sleeping monster because they have Brian Burns to a squad that is already very talented and young.

Daboll isn't the worst coach, his first season was great, but I think I see some toxic leadership traits.

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.
