I would never root for a player to be injured but I have to say that this doesn't surprise me.
Some people just aren't built for the game. jD in Washington is another one, unfortunately. Problem is you can add mass and bulk to help protect your joints but your joints are what they are. If your skeletal frame is slight, it's still going to be that way under all of that added mass unless the player is on HGH or the like .

A guy I am hoping is built too small skeletally is Emmanwori. He seems to constantly have some tweak of a joint.

The funny thing is that i have a small frame.. went from 150ish lbs to 300 in a couple years thinking it would help me, but I've had surgeries on both knees and my shoulder now. Wear and tear sucks.. Granted my left knee was the result of me on a motorcyle against a car lol

So ima go ahead and ask - what sorta diet leads one from 150 to 300 - ? The classic American bacon grease salad?

This was the main reason I didn’t want us to take Penix.

Hope he heals…dude definitely has a cannon on him.

No soda 5 to 6k calories per day and not working out for over an hour. I did 4 on 1 off as a schedule essentially.. back and biceps, chest and triceps, legs and abs and then the last day was traps, biceps, triceps, forearms, calf muscles, etc. All the support once essentially

shit team and a shit franchise that will ruin a great QB prospect
Love how people blame franchise and team, at what point
is it the QB himself that isn't helping any?
FYI - I heard this about Justin Fields too.

well at least give the guy a year. I called this already. terrible spot for him to go and they were going to ruin his career.

I understand your thought, I just disagree that it's the "team",
they put a solid offense around him and had him watch/learn for
over a half the season last year.
The guy played 5-6 years of college, you'd think he would have an
easier time in that offense with his arm.
The injury was going to happen no matter where he went, he's injury
prone "big time", if anything he was drafted too high for the risk he is
of getting hurt.

Concerned about the longevity of both him and Daniels. Daniels hasn't looked right all year.

Penix probably has a covert team stealing ACLs from homeless people and storing them in a freezer in his basement

Sucks for Penix, and it should be the final nail in the coffin for the front office in Atlanta. Everyone who isn't a Falcons employee thought that it made no sense to give Cousins the contract he got, and everyone agreed it made no sense to draft Penix after giving Cousins his deal. Their justification was that signing Cousins and drafting Penix guarantees they get a top starter. Now they have a messed up cap and no real QB.
